What is dry offset printing process?
Dry offset printing is also known as letterpress offset printing. The thickness of the copper-zinc plate for dry offset printing is 0.04~0.05mm. In order to improve the printing endurance, chrome plating is generally performed after grinding, and the thickness of the coating is about 1 μm. The photosensitive solution uses protein photosensitive solution or PVA dichromic acid photosensitive solution. The manufacturing precision of the printing machine used for dry offset printing is higher than that of the general offset printing machine, especially for the three cylinders, the precision should be guaranteed to a higher level. The thickness of the printing plate and the thickness of the pad should also be uniform, and the thickness error should not exceed 0.01mm. The printing pressure is small, and the hardness of the blanket is generally 70 to 75 Shore degrees. Dry offset printing is mainly used in stamp shading printing, flexible tube printing, banknote printing, curved surface printing and packaging printing.
